At the Portal 2008 conference in early June at Gettysburg College, MICA's Ben Liyanage developed a great idea. He presented his idea during his technical paper presentation on MICA's current Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 9.0 implementation. He is currently refining and realizing his idea and will unleash it in the new MyMICA.

In early June 2008, MICA's Ben Liyanage, Susan Miltenberger, and Ted Simpson presented recent findings in the area of portal technology as applied to the higher education enterprise at the perennially outstanding Portal Conference at Gettysburg College (http://www.gettysburg.edu/portal).

MICA will release MyMICA for Life in July for all members of the class of 2008. This access will enable alumni to continue to access all of the online services they enjoy as students. Congratulations Class of 2008!
