We completed testing and data validation on our Financials 8.4 environment this week. w00t! Now, it is on to 9.0 and we never ever have to look back again. Compared to 7.5, 8.4 was a dream -- 9.0 promises to be even better.

We recently released a training environment for our end users to get the look and feel. This matches the environment they did their training in this spring. We also published full financials PeopleBooks. Contact Ted Simpson for more information.

While doing some research in collaboration with University of Baltimore this week, I discovered that MICA is the only school in the world that is live on Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Enterprise Portal, Human Capital Management, and Contributor Relations all on release 9.0. We have held that status since October 2007.

Ben has been working for a while to perfect a remarkable user provisioning system. He built it using Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS) fed from our Oracle PeopleSoft ERP system. A most excellent and much needed innovation. Thanks Ben!
